3 riders, who inspire you.
I get quiet impressed by some of the freestyle moves that the young kids come up with. For example my little brother Momo, but I still have a lot of respect for the first generation of pro riders.

3 greatest movies you watched.
I never remember the names of movies, I can remember the stories they talk about but it will be too long to explain….

Did you have any bad Injuries in your career and how did it happen?
A few times, especially ankles, knees, and shoulders. That’s why I prepare more now ,by doing some stretching and bit of gym, to avoid all that kind of injuries.

Explain how you got into being sponsored?
Since I started kiting, I directly understood that I have all the chances to improve and do the world cup and become a professional, first thing that motivated me was my age, as I was only 15, and I was the first Moroccan who did this sport. so I started doing some travel stores for the European kite magazines, once I got a bit of coverage things were easier so I had a big support from morocco, to be able to move to Tarifa and train, and from north and ion to be able to attend the world cup tour.

Kiting is…?
A way of life, and a philosophy, but only for the ones who have got the real passion for it.

Your Favourite place to travel to…
Any new place ,that offers the opportunity to kite in good conditions, meet nice people, and discover a new culture is nice for me, I still have a lots of destinations that I would like to do….but for now I can see Morocco, Brazil, New Caledonia.

When I’m 50 years old…
I would like to keep kiting and surfing and partying us I’m doing now, my son he is 16 months now, and my dream is to keep kiting and surfing and competing until we can do a heat together in the kiteboarding world cup.

After my career I will be...
I have got a lot of projects about kiteboarding. I already initiated some of them. For example kite schools in tarifa, essaouira and dakhla. In addition to that I’m the president of the moroccan kiteboarding association that organizes the world cup in essaouira every year,so I have got a lot of things to do for this sport in morocco.

What is important for you in life besides Kitesurfing?
My family for sure,my son and my wife.

Beer or cocktail?
A Moroccan mint tea.

I didn’t become a banker because…
Because I cant see those millions in front of me every day and be waiting for my little salary at the end of the month.
