I’ve had a broken tibia (hard landing). Broken collar bone (hit the hard packed sand coming in hot from a trick) and torn biceps muscle (my leash blew it apart.) All happened doing freestyle!!

Explain how you got into being sponsored?
I just started competing a lot and one thing led to another.

Kiting is:
Amazing because it defies all the rules. It’s even fun when the waves are tiny and especially when it’s onshore!

Your Favourite place to travel to.
Travelling anywhere is an adventure but it’s always best coming home.

When I’m 50 years old I…
/ after my career I will be enjoying my golden years.

Being healthy, having my girlfriend, friends and family around me and taking care of my house and veggie garden.

Beer or cocktail?
That’s a trick question because they both have alcohol!

I didn’t become a banker because:
I can’t be inside that many hours a day.

My girlfriend says:
That I have a bad memory.

I say:
I can’t remember what we were talking about.

My homespot is:
Hmmm, I guess technically that would have to be Bonaire.

I’d never ride at:
A KPWT event. But seriously, screw those guys.

A pint of Coopers Pale Ale at the Camel Toe

Last fight you got into?
When I was 14. I got attacked by about 10 dudes and ended up with lots of stitches in my face. That was the first and hopefully the last.
