Short report from Tom Hartmann – ION Windsurfing Teamrider:
10 days of Surfworldcup Podersdorf finally ended last weekend. We had great weather on the first weekend with a new visitors record. To provide a spectacular show even without wind we did a tow-in session with jetski and motorboat pulling us on the windsurfer over the jumpramp and also performing flatwater moves right in front of the beach and thousand of spectators, which was good fun and a nice action to promote the sport.
On the second weekend i took part in the first stand-up-paddle race of the newly formed ASUPA. We did a one hour pro/am race and I won together with my teammates the competition, so currently team "Naish International" is leading the ranking ;-)
