The PKRA, kiteboarding’s host of wakestyle competitions, was dominated by Aaron Hadlow for the past years. He nearly won every PKRA tour stop and if he didn’t, Kevin Langaree took it home.
This year was different. Not only did Kevin push Aaron from the throne, there was also a new face on the top of the podium in New Caledonia.
ION international team rider Alex Pastor scored his first podium place.
He was on fire during the whole competition and when it came to the decision he still had the balls to throw it down even harder.
The reward was the top of the podium. First time for him and first time for ION as well.
