We kinda like the gossip idea, so we’ll bring up another one for our kite team.
So here are the comp news: First one was the PKRA stop in Fuerteventura – a classic in the PKRA calendar. ION team rider Cesar Portas did very well and got high up in the single eliminations. After the doubles he went away with an excellent 4th place. Tom Court and Thomas Paris finished 13th. Tom also went for the kiteloop contest title. He only lost to Kevin Langaree and got seconds. After Fuerte the whole PKRA circus moved on to St. Peter Ording, Germany. Yet again it was Cesar, who got the best freestyle rank (4th place).
Dirk Hanel showed the young boys how to race and finished 3rd in the course racing discipline.
All-round expert Kirsty Jones drove form Whales, UK down to Portugal to compete in a nice wave competition. Since Kirsty won the KPWT overall wave title, you can expect her to go big. That’s exactly what happened. Kirsty got first!
