A short report from Kevin Cobb:
The Austrian Contest Season is over. The last stop of the Austria Cup presented by Telering and Corona, took place at the famous Jetlake in Feldkirchen, Upper Austria.
For the 3rd time this year, I took the mic in my hand and was the voice of the competition. Commentating these events has made them even more fun, and I’m looking forward to speak at all events next year.
The big difference between last years Austrian Championship was, that the champion was not the winner of the last stop, but the overall winner of the whole tour.
The event also had some international riders from Hungary and Thailand.
One of them was Freddy Grove (Thai). He competed in my category and took first place, with me right at his heels.
Due to some back pain issues, i couldn’t ride the whole obstacle course, but i had two stand up runs in the finals and was very happy considering the circumstances.
